Once again the Taiwanese company beats everybody else and is the first to update its smartphones.

Different reports coming from users in Germany and Finland confirm that HTC has finally started to push out the Ice Cream Sandwich updates for its HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE. In both cases the Android 4.0 firmware includes the HTC Sense 3.6 and not the HTC Sense 3.5 we had the opportunity to test a few weeks ago on a device received directly from the Taiwanese company.
As usual the updates will be pushed out gradually, so don’t worry if you don’t see it yet and be a little more patient; all HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE users should be upgraded within a couple of weeks.
Compliments once again to HTC, which even if with a small delay from what originally planned is once again the first manufacturer to update its smartphones to the latest OS version (yes, Asus has updated its Transformer already, but that’s a tablet; the HTC Sensation is the first non-Nexus phone to receive it).
