The Taiwanese company keeps growing and sells twice as many smartphones as Samsung in the UK.
Research company ComScore just released a report about the trends of the smartphone platforms across the five leading European markets (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK) showing once again a huge growth of the Android mobile OS that in July outsold Apple’s iOS and is now the only candidate to replace the primate of falling Symbian.
Among Android OEMs, HTC keeps leading on everyone else, with a peak in the United Kingdom where the market share is over 50%. Samsung follows, thanks especially to its good results in France, and third comes Sony Ericsson.
