Following the Nexus smartphones, Google is reported to have a reference slate ready to launch in the Summer.

According to some rumors circulating in the web today, Google is working on a tablet which would be the Honeycomb reference and the first one to receive software and UI updates. And if for the first two Nexus smartphone Google chose to partner with HTC and Samsung, this tablet should be in the works of Korean LG.
Eldar Murtazin of Mobile-Review even says that the Nexus Pad (the official name is still unknown) is ready to be released in the mid-Summer or early-Fall.
A possible launch date may be next May 10 at the Google I/O event in San Francisco, but at the moment there are no more info, as well as there are no talks of specifications. We’ll keep our ears open and will post news as soon as they arrive.
