The new iPhone application is now renamed Google Search and adds several new features.
Google announced an updated version of its Mobile App for iPhone with several new features and a new name. The new Google Search now includes Google Apps shortcuts, gesture support, and a new toolbar that improves the searches on iOS devices. See a demo video:
The application is already available for free in the App Store.
